Drop Box Visa Stamping

My permanent address in India is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I will be visiting Hyderabad on a business trip in October of this year and would require a new U.S. visa while in India to return back to the  US. I would like to use the drop box option since I qualify for that option based on the criteria outlined. However, I have a few questions regarding the process.

  1. Can I use the drop box service in Hyderabad while I am there or am I required to use Ahmedabad center since my permanent address is in Ahmedabad?

  2. Can I drop my application in Hyderabad center and pick up at Ahmedabad location?

  3. Does the pickup location have to be the same as the drop off location?
